Germany’s biggest and most spectacular festival, PAROOKAVILLE, is running full steam ahead for their 2024 edition. The City of Dreams opens its gates once again at Weeze Airport this coming July 19th to 21st for a staggering 225,000 Parookaville citizens and a weekend full of lunacy, love and pure joy. Now with only a few weeks to go before the festival opens, its organizers have largely completed booking the acts for this year’s edition. And we have sorted 10 reasons why you should visit this festival at least once in your lifetime.

1. THEATRE DISTRICT.
PAROOKAVILLE is getting bigger, while the number of citizens remains the same. This year City of Dreams is getting an update and expanding it to include a new district. Get ready for: Theater District. From podcasts to live shows to variety shows: a varied program with entertainment in all forms awaits you there.

2. EARLY ACCESS & WARM UP PARTY
More is more. That’s why you can check in at their campsites from Wednesday this year and start your festival weekend before everyone else with the exclusive PENNY Warm-Up Party. Avoid the daily crowds and come early to set up your tent on time and enjoy the festival before all non campers.

NOTE: Early arrival is possible on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and can be booked as an add-on in the ticket shop. The offer is very limited.

3. IMMERSE INTO ANOTHER WORLD!
The newly formed Theater District has even more to offer, because here you can take your PAROOKAVILLE experience to a new level. Awaken your spirit and connect with your higher self as our tarot card reader lays out the cards for you or our palmist reveals new truths about yourself or others.

4. PAROOKAVILLE GOES GREEN
This year’s main stage will be greener than ever. Under the motto “Bill’s Greenhouse” you can expect a stage design that you have never seen before! Immerse yourself in another world and let yourself fall to the best sounds of electronic music in the here and now, because this unique atmosphere will make you forget reality in no time!

5. CAMPING UPDATES
PAROOKAVILLE has heard the feedback from their citizens and gave the PAROOKAVILLE campsite a big upgrade this year so that everyone gets their money’s worth. Not only is there a revised sanitary concept but also there are added fail-safe toilets to all sanitary areas. Newly created campsite categories, such as the Green Camp and Friendship Camp. No matter whether you are looking for the ultimate party, a sustainable retreat or a reserved space for you and your friends: you will find it at their campsite. For those festival lovers that prefer maximum comfort there is also a very comfortable glamping resort.

6. NEW STAGE DESIGNS
Over the past editions most stages looked the same each year. Now the PAROOKAVILLE is giving the Power Plant, Time Lab and Cloud Factory a proper new coat of paint this year. Look forward to a visual spectacle, unique sound and a party and dance experience in a class of its own.

7. SAUNA IT UP
This year you will find a sauna at Base Camp, where you can treat yourself to a break and experience a unique sauna session! For 2 tokens you can enjoy your 15-minute sauna session including show, music & party.

8. MORE SPACE TO DANCE
What could be nicer than losing yourself in the sound of music and completely freaking out to the best DJ sets? So that no dance move remains hidden due to lack of space, PAROOKAVILLE created more space in front the main stage and is expanding the dance floor. So nothing stands in the way of an extensive dance session. Stay tuned for more information.

9. GOODBYE BILL’S FACTORY
If you just panicked for a moment: Noooo worries. Of course, you do not have to say goodbye to the fabulous Bill’s Factory completely. This will be the last year that we see Bill’s Factory in its current state in the City of Dreams. The end of an era is coming and before we say goodbye, the organizers want to have a blast with you at the old Bill’s Factory one last time. You can be sure that this will be a spectacle.

10. NEW STAMP FOR YOUR PASSPORT
New year – new stamp. Your passport is more than a souvenir, it is a symbol of all the unique and unforgettable hours you experienced in the City of Dreams. This year there is also a new stamp with which you can make your passport even more special and collect a souvenir of the wonderful hours in PAROOKAVILLE. Simply pick up your stamp at the beautiful Town Hall.
