20 Things To Do at Tomorrowland’s 20-year Anniversary

Less than a month to go before the start of a magnificent new tale in the history of Tomorrowland! The iconic Belgian festival is celebrating its special 20-year anniversary edition. Tomorrowland Belgium 2024 will take place across two weekends from July 19-21 and July 26-28, which will revolve around this year’s theme ‘LIFE’ – the prequel of the 2016 ‘Elixir of Life’ theme. With a fully stacked lineup and tons of things to do, one might wonder what to see or visit. So we from Nocturnal Time present you 20 things that are a must see if you are visiting this iconic 20th edition of Tomorrowland.

1) Afterlife
​Afterlife, the visionary music label founded by Italian duo Tale Of Us, will be curating their own line-up at the Freedom stage on July 21 and July 28, inviting artists like Anyma, Argy, Chris Avantgarde, Kevin de Vries, MRAK, Olympe and more. On July 27, Tale Of Us will be delivering an unforgettable performance at Tomorrowland’s famed Mainstage.

2) Anyma
​A highly-anticipated debut: Anyma, the solo project of Matteo Milleri, better known as the other half of Tale Of Us and co-founder of Afterlife Records, will be performing at the Tomorrowland Mainstage for the first time ever on July 20.

3) Amelie Lens
​Belgian techno queen Amelie Lens’ EXHALE label will be coming to Tomorrowland to host the Atmosphere stage on July 28, including performances by 999999999, Daria Kolosova, Farrago, Milo Spykers and Helena Lauwaert B2B Emilija. On July 20, Amelie will be gracing the Mainstage with the future sounds of techno.

4) Belgium’s future stars
Amber Broos
​The 21-year-old female Belgian DJ and One World Radio resident Amber Broos, renowned for her unique style of techno and Belgian retro, will be hosting the Atmosphere stage on July 21, including guests like HorsegiirL, Patrick Mason, The Subs, Juliet Fox, Bermio and more. On July 27, Amber will be returning to the Mainstage for another spectacular performance.

Andromedik
​The 26-year-old Belgian rising drum and bass artist Andromedik will be hosting the Atmosphere stage on July 20, inviting acts like Dimension, Luude, Grafix, Koven and more. On July 27, Andromedik will be joining the Lost Frequencies & Friends stage at The Library.

IIIMAGINE invites iii & choir
​IIIMAGINE, founded by the Belgian brothers Roelandt, have been selling out iconic venues across Europe. On July 26, they will be inviting the multidisciplinary live act iii for their first ever festival show together with a choir, treating visitors to an extraordinary show with new electronic music and visuals, blending art with technology.

MANDY
​The 26-year-old Belgian female hard dance powerhouse MANDY is celebrating her 10-year anniversary as an artist this year. As a cherry on top, MANDY will be making her debut on Tomorrowland’s iconic Mainstage on July 20. On July 28, MANDY will be playing another explosive set at The Rose Garden.

Samm
​Belgian rising star Samm is surely on his way to become one of today’s most sought-after DJ/producers. Delivering a warm and feel-good blend of melodic techno & afro house with a touch of soul, Samm has already received support from the likes of Adriatique, CamelPhat, Keinemusik, Pablo Fierro, Themba, and many more. On July 19, Samm will be joining Keinemusik’s hosting at the Crystal Garden. On July 26, Samm will be playing another set at the Freedom stage.

5) Bonobo B2B Dixon
​A truly unique B2B set: British musician and producer Bonobo will be jumping behind the decks of the CORE stage together with German techno star Dixon on July 20.

6) CORE
​After a series of spectacular shows in Tulum and Medellín, the new CORE stage will be travelling back to Tomorrowland’s enchanting forests in De Schorre in July. Surrounded by nature and deeper sounds, the impressive new stage will welcome performances by Bonobo, Denis Sulta, Dixon, DJ Heartstring, Eliza Rose, HAAi, Marlon Hoffstadt, Shanti Celeste, The Blessed Madonna, TSHA, and many more.

7) David Guetta
​French music icon David Guetta, arguably one of the world’s biggest and most successful DJs of all time, returns to Tomorrowland! Get ready for an unforgettable Mainstage performance on July 28.

8) Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and 3 Are Legend
​Belgian superstar duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, cherished as residents since the festival’s inception, will be once again putting on a spectacular Mainstage show on July 20 and July 27. On July 21 and July 28, the brothers will be hosting their own Smash The House stage at The Library, inviting a bunch of their friends, including Afrojack, Bassjackers, Brennan Heart, Joel Corry, Sam Feldt, Timmy Trumpet, and many more. As a cherry on top, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will be joining forces with Steve Aoki to close out the Mainstage on July 21 as 3 Are Legend with a high-energy show full of surprises – a special closing tribute to 20 years of Tomorrowland.

9) DJ ROOP
​Kolkata-based DJ ROOP started his DJing career in 2014 and has performed all around India. Currently, he’s also giving DJ classes to young girls and women at the Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School in the heart of one of the largest slum communities in Kolkata. On July 27, DJ ROOP will travel all the way to Belgium to perform at the Rise stage, finally fulfilling his childhood dream.

10) Eliza Rose
​English DJ, musician and producer Eliza Rose, who has gone from underground gem to global superstar thanks to her infectious track ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)’, will be playing at Tomorrowland for the first time ever! On July 20, Eliza Rose will grace the Mainstage, on July 27, she will be hosting the mythical CORE stage.

11) Hard techno
​Hard techno, characterized by its pulsating beats and high-energy rhythms, has emerged as the new face of techno. Expect to see some of the most popular hard techno artists this summer, including Ellen Allien, I Hate Models, Paula Temple b2b SNTS, Nico Moreno B2B Dyen, NOVAH, Oguz, Sara Landry, Trym, VIDO and many more.

12) Keinemusik
​The Berlin-based music collective Keinemusik(Rampa, Adam Port, &ME), undoubtedly one of hottest names in electronic music, will be making their Tomorrowland debut, taking over the Mainstage on July 28. On July 19, Keinemusik will be hosting the Crystal Garden, inviting Samm, WhoMadeWho, and more.

13) Brand-new stages: Planaxis, House of Fortune and Melodia
​This summer, Tomorrowland will be the home of 16 different stages, including the brand-new Planaxis, House of Fortune and Melodia stages for the People of Tomorrow to discover. Expect to dive into a beautiful underwater world at Planaxis with a wide array of sounds over the two festival weekends, brought to you by Adriatique, Amémé, Brina Knauss, Elderbrook, Fideles, Hugel, Mahmut Orhan, Mind Against, Philou Louzolo, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and many more.

14) REZZMAU5
​The Canadian duo REZZMAU5, the iconic combination of renowned artists REZZ and Deadmau5, will reunite at the Freedom stage on July 20.

15) Solomun B2B Four Tet
​Get ready for a breathtaking B2B by the king of the afterparty Solomun and British musician Four Tet at the Crystal Garden on July 20. Solomun will also be making his way to the Mainstage on July 26.

16) Swedish House Mafia
​The legendary trio Swedish House Mafia, consisting of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, will be making their return to the Mainstage of Tomorrowland on July 19 and July 26.

17) Symphony of Unity
​A true crowd favorite – on July 20 and July 27, the DJ booth of the Freedom stage will be handed over again to a group of live musicians to perform the Symphony of Unity, composed specially for Tomorrowland. A magical performance in which classical and electronic music will be united with a unique live mix between the all-time and most iconic electronic Tomorrowland anthems and fabulous classical music such as the Tomorrowland Hymn. On October 18, the Symphony of Unity will travel to Amsterdam for a mesmerizing Our Story show in the Ziggo Dome during Amsterdam Dance Event.

18) Might Delete Later
​“Leave a voicemail and I might make a song out of it”. Biodegradable yellow flyers, each with a phone number, have been seen worldwide thanks to Might Delete Later: a unique project where voicemails become dance music. This artist has a special public phone line where anyone can leave a voicemail that could become part of the Might Delete Later’s next track. Quite literally – your story has the chance to be transformed into a dance floor anthem. This dynamic three-piece electronic act puts up a high-energy performance with a unique twist. Madara, the creative powerhouse behind the music, produces, sings, and writes all the music. Alongside her, Bastiaan adds a layer of sonic alchemy with live modular improvisation, while Gino lays down the groove on the bongo drums. The Might Delete Later live experience is nothing short of impeccable, featuring real-time sampling of the voicemails and an interactive light installation onstage. The artist seamlessly blends her Lana Del Rey-esque live vocals with meticulously produced dance tracks, drawing parallels to the likes of Jamie XX and Fred again.. Might Delete Later will be debuting at Tomorrowland’s Freedom stage on July 26.

19) Tomorrowland Music
​Tomorrowland’s official record label Tomorrowland Music is joining forces with the renowned house music label Selected., taking over the Crystal Garden on July 21, including James Hype, Meduza, Ferreck Dawn, Jengi b2b The Magician, KREAM, Korolova and more. On July 26, Tomorrowland Music will be co-curating the line-up of The Library, featuring Alok, Felix Jaehn, Otto Knows, R3HAB, Topic and more.

20) Young DJ talents
​Spread over the two festival weekends, 7 young talents, from 9 to 17 years old, will get the opportunity to perform across different stages, in collaboration with the Tomorrowland Academy, Tomorrowland’s DJ & producer school for kids, youngsters, and adults.
