It all began when a TikTok video surfaced in July, showing a person in Vietnam taking a bike that didn’t belong to him while wearing an Alan Walker hoodie. The video quickly went viral, garnering 9 million views to date and capturing the attention of Vietnamese media outlets.

Upon seeing the video, Alan took to his own TikTok to address the situation, emphasizing the importance of using his merchandise in the right way. The post received over 13 million views to date and the internet was abuzz with the question, ‘Where are you now, bike?’ as speculation and anticipation grew about the mysterious ‘Alan Biker’ behind the incident. 

Determined to set things right, Alan embarked on a personal mission to return the bike to its rightful owner. After a thorough investigation, the owner was contacted and informed of a special delivery that was headed his way. Little did he know that on August 19th, the same day the delivery arrived, he would receive a surprise visit from none other than Alan Walker himself.

On August 19th, Alan was spotted in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he visited a local bike store to select a new bike and lock adorned with his signature AW sticker.

He then went to the owner’s neighborhood, where he surprised the owner with the new bike and his appearance.

To top this moment, Alan recreated the viral CCTV footage and brought a full circle moment to the story by returning the bike into its original house.

The story has gone viral, with many applauding Alan’s dedication in travelling across the world to compensate for the bike owner’s lost and delivering the surprise in person.
