One of America’s largest music festivals, Coachella announced today that Two-time Latin GRAMMY-nominated Brazilian music superstar and philanthropist ALOK is confirmed to perform both weekends of the festival. He will be bringing his high level performance production to Coachella’s iconic Sahara tent for both appearances. This announcement caps off an extremely monumental year for ALOK, who just received two nominations for the 2024 Latin GRAMMY Music Awards in the new ‘Best Latin Electronic Music Performance’ category for his songs, “Pedju Kunumigwe” with Guarani Nhandewa from his The Future Is Ancestral project, and “Drum Machine” with masked dance music artist DJ Pickle.

ALOK has also been performing for record breaking crowds in Brazil of 750,000 people, at times even surpassing 1 million, including his 2024 New Year’s performance in Brazil. He’s received critical acclaim and support for his humanitarian project and album, The Future Is Ancestral having been awarded by UNESCO and receiving support from the United Nations. He performed songs from the album at the United Nations in New York twice during Global Climate Week. He’s also received support from the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles where he hosted a panel performed alongside his Indigenous collaborators as part of the Global Spin Live series.

Most recently, ALOK and the indigenous musicians performed at the Global Citizen Music Festival in New York. In addition to all of this, he’s released smash singles like “Summer’s Back” with British GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter Jess Glynne, which topped the European Airplay charts, “Deep In Your Love” with multi-platinum hitmaker Bebe Rexha, and most recently “Looking For Love” with GRAMMY-nominated global superstar Anitta. ALOK has also kicked off his biggest tour yet – his ‘ÁUREA Tour,’ which will travel across Brazil featuring a custom mega stage including a pyramid-like structure with over 100 tons of equipment and a 360-degree rotating platform. The monumental kick off show and tour was covered by Billboard.
