Only four years ago, Ark Patrol dropped the single “Let Go” featuring Veronika Redd, one of their first-ever releases. The song randomly took off back in March on TikTok with now over 170k+ videos made using the sound and 60k+ daily streams on Spotify. Since January, the song essentially erupted and gained over 20 million streams across DSP’s. As the year is coming to a close, Ark Patrol thought it would be a good plan to give his fans “Let Go – Acoustic,” a new version of his massive hit. To compliment the release, he also released a stunning lyric video.

Hawaii-based Veronika loved the idea of releasing a new stripped-down, acoustic version of the hit track. To fit with the quarantine times, Ark Patrol and Veronika sent each other music back and forth via virtual session in order to put it together.

“Veronika and I were stoked to get together again and bring you this special interpretation of one of the first songs we wrote in our career. For the acoustic version I wanted to make sure the whole song could be made with only a guitar and the voice, though I did cheat at the end with a little plate reverb. Special thanks to everyone who has been listening since the original song!” -Ark Patrol

“It’s been wonderful getting to work with Ark Patrol again! When we originally recorded this song over four years ago, I had no idea it would take off the way it did. We hope you all enjoy this acoustic version. Thanks to all of you who have enjoyed Let Go over the years! You’re the best.” -Veronika Redd

Ark Patrol has recently moved from Seattle to LA where he is working on his next major work planned for 2021. Fans can look forward to more developed sounds from him in the coming months that will also feature his own vocals similar to this iconic track.

Rising DJ, producer, and content creator, Ciara Graves, has been a dedicated Writer & Editor for The Nocturnal Times while simultaneously crafting her most electrifying projects yet.
