Boomerang Hong Kong Achieves Fifth Consecutive Ranking in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs
Boomerang Hong Kong is once again making headlines, solidifying its place among the world’s elite nightlife destinations by securing the #40 spot in DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 Clubs list. This marks the fifth consecutive year the venue has earned a place on the list, and its highest ranking to date. Situated in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, Boomerang has redefined the standard for high-energy, visually immersive nightlife in Asia, standing tall as a global benchmark of innovation and entertainment excellence.

Since its grand opening on Halloween 2020, Boomerang has been a force of momentum in the international club scene. It earned early global recognition for its unique blend of futuristic design, cutting-edge sound, and electrifying atmosphere. What began as a bold concept quickly evolved into a nightlife phenomenon, catapulting from #98 in 2021 to a Top 40 heavyweight in just a few years—a testament to its relentless pursuit of quality and creativity.
Inside, Boomerang delivers a sensory experience like no other. From a motorized kinetic ceiling to its custom Funktion-One audio system and laser-precise lighting, every element is crafted to ignite awe. The club has played host to an impressive roster of international headliners, including Slander, Meduza, Lost Frequencies, and Vini Vici—transforming each night into a festival-caliber spectacle. More than just parties, these shows are immersive productions, each executed with world-class attention to detail.
Beyond the dance floor, Boomerang’s cultural impact continues to expand with Distinct Records, its in-house label launched in 2023. Celebrating its first anniversary, the imprint has quickly carved out a reputation for bold, boundary-pushing music. At the helm of this entire movement are Deejaykarlie and John Rana of the Privé Group—a creative and strategic duo whose shared vision has turned Boomerang into more than a nightclub. It’s now a global symbol of nightlife artistry, music innovation, and cultural leadership.
