Ultra Music Festival’s 25th anniversary celebration delivered a defining moment in modern music history tonight, as GRAMMY Award-winning producer and music artist AFROJACK brought out surprise special guests David Guetta and Sia to perform their multi-platinum, global hit “Titanium” together for the very first time.

Since its release in 2011, “Titanium” has become one of the most iconic and enduring anthems of the 21st century—amassing 4 billion+ streams worldwide and leaving a permanent mark on both pop and electronic music culture. In a moment more than ten years in the making, AFROJACK, David Guetta and Sia had never united on stage to perform their iconic record together — until Ultra’s 25th anniversary celebration provided the perfect platform for this once-in-a-generation musical moment.

“Titanium” soared from Ultra’s Main Stage through the Downtown Miami night as AFROJACK, David Guetta and Sia delivered their chart-topping record’s signature emotional crescendos together – captivating the festival’s sold-out audience, as well as millions of fans around the world, who watched the performance via Ultra’s cutting-edge #ULTRALIVE broadcast on UMF TV.

As AFROJACK’s set neared its finale, he built anticipation for a surprise guest appearance by dropping David Guetta’s chart-topping Akon collaboration “Sexy Bitch” (“Sexy Chick”) – a subtle nod that signaled what was to come. Moments later, the crowd erupted as Guetta emerged on stage, warmly referring to AFROJACK as his “little brother” and reflecting on signing AFROJACK as a young, budding artist. He also shared how, during the making of “Titanium,” he turned to AFROJACK to help overcome a creative roadblock in the production.

The spotlight then shifted to Sia, who emerged in custom Dolce & Gabbana and her signature wig, delivering a transcendent vocal performance that marked her historic first-ever appearance at an electronic music festival – a milestone moment that only Ultra, with its unrivaled legacy of groundbreaking performances, could orchestrate.

David Guetta and Sia also performed their new collaboration “Beautiful People,” which was released earlier this month, in addition to AFROJACK performing his new single, “Never Forget You,” which is a return to his classic sound, as an homage for his day one fans.

The “Titanium” surprise performance exemplified Ultra’s quarter-century legacy as the vanguard of never-before-seen, history-making moments that transcend electronic music and shape the broader cultural landscape.

From the heartfelt nostalgia of “Titanium” to the forward-thinking sonics of “Beautiful People,” AFROJACK’s headlining set reaffirmed Ultra’s unparalleled position as the global stage where music history is written.
