The esteemed label spearheaded by deadmau5, mau5trap, has been at the forefront of the scene for quite some time. Having discovered a handful of prominent artists and facilitated their growth, they have curated an authentic brand and loyal fan base. Now, to take things a step further, deadmau5 is debuting a new label venture, hau5trap, a new home for electrifying pioneers in the house music realm.

hau5trap will showcase textural, groove driven, and melodic sounds, making it the new premiere collective for all things house music. The label will also welcome back familiar members of the mau5trap family while simultaneously bringing on fresh faces.

“With hau5trap, we get to support more things we love specifically in house music. Tommy Trash remixed my ‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ and ‘The Veldt’ tracks, so I’m happy to have him be the first artist to release on hau5trap.” -deadmau5

“From the start, the mau5trap mandate has been to find and foster global electronic talent. hau5trap is the perfect platform to expand and continue that mission. Tommy Trash’s history with the mau5trap family is well documented, and we’re excited to unveil what’s to come.” -Dean Wilson, CEO & Founder of Seven20

Taking the lead on launching the label, popular mau5trap artist Tommy Trash is releasing hau5trap 0001: “Hiiigh.” This track is in collaboration with Daisy Guttridge, who was a part of their hit 2019 collaboration “Let Me Go” with i_o and 2017 hit “Oxygen.” “Hiiigh” is filled with sonic synths and classic four-on-the-floor basslines, making it an undeniably groovy tune. This track is the perfect beginning to what will become an iconic label.

Rising DJ, producer, and content creator, Ciara Graves, has been a dedicated Writer & Editor for The Nocturnal Times while simultaneously crafting her most electrifying projects yet.
