Duvall Makes Armada Debut in “Every Song” ft. bshp
Testifying for Armada’s very own New Music Friday today is London-born artist Duvall, who is here with his brand-new single “Every Song” featuring bshp.
For anyone looking for a fresh new track to throw on repeat, this one’s for you. From the very beginning this song shakes listeners with its free and easy tone, slowly but surely building up with crisp rhythms, sharp house tones, and delicately beautiful vocals by bshp. This sizzling new record breathes life into our springtime season, serving as the perfect tune to warm up your upcoming weeks and set the mood for sunshine vibes to come.
“The idea for ‘Every Song’ started on a writing camp my company (OUTCRY) set up in London in 2019…Over the next year, it developed into a beautiful record I’m very proud of. It’s co-written and performed by the amazing bshp, who is without a doubt the best singer I’ve ever worked with. She’s someone we’re developing and I can’t wait for the world to hear this Whitney Houston-level talent. ‘Every Song’ was also co-produced by Jay Nebula. He’s another talent under OUTCRY we are developing, so it’s a family collaboration and I love that! The song is about being reminded of someone special by every song you hear. It may even be someone you’re trying to forget, but can’t because ‘Every song I hear is about you’.” – Duvall
“Every song lets us know how we can’t get someone out of our head when we’re invested in them”, bshp adds. “Everywhere we go, everything reminds us of them, and every song we hear is all of a sudden so damn relatable. I love that feeling when it’s the start of something and it’s exciting. I’m so gassed to be part of this collaboration with Duvall, as I’m already a huge fan of his work.” – Duvall
Many will recognize Nathan Vincent Duvall AKA Duvall as one of the founding members platinum-selling DJ/Production trio Disciples, and now his take off as a solo artist is igniting even more fires in the global electronic scene. “Every Song” marks his debut release on Armada, and marks his next collaboration alongside bshp who previously worked on Disciple’s “Solid Gold” record. Duvall has chosen total creative freedom in signing with Armada, where he can bring his wide array of influences to the table to create hit after hit. “Every Song” couldn’t have been a better introduction to the highly-esteemed label, and we can’t wait to see what comes up next on his musical wave.
