Electric Love’s Future at Salzburgring Secured for the LongTerm
Austria’s biggest festival “Electric Love Festival” announced the extension of their contract with Salzburgring as the venue for six more editions. The contract, now valid through 2030, allows the festival to continue in the picturesque Fuschlsee region, ensuring long-term planning security for qualitative and sustainable development.
“Salzburgring and its surroundings are an extremely valuable and sensitive microcosm, which we are allowed to use once a year for our passion with great gratitude and humility. There is a strong identification with Electric Love – from local clubs to many wonderful and dedicated
people who significantly contribute to Electric Love being one of the best festivals in the world
today. Even among critics of our work, we encounter constructive and respectful dialogues.
These values are of great importance and are sustainable in the long term.” – Manuel
Reifenauer (CEO Electric Love)
Thanks to its location in the idyllic Salzburg Lake District, the region offers the perfect backdrop for the festival, which enjoys great international popularity. Every year, Electric Love Festival attracts a total of 180,000 visitors across all festival days from over 70 countries. The proximity to the city of Salzburg and the setting amidst nature create a unique symbiosis between the festival experience and a touristic highlight.
“We are extremely pleased that Salzburgring will continue to host Electric Love Festival. It shows that the partnership, which has grown over a decade, is based on a foundation of trust
and stability.” – Ernst Penninger (Managing Director Salzburgring)
Long-term perspectives thanks to regional partnerships and infrastructure
The excellent infrastructure of the region, with optimal connections and numerous guest beds
across all categories, offers festivalgoers maximum comfort. Thus, the festival’s impact extends far beyond music: it serves as an impulse for regional tourism.
“The long-term security of the Electric Love Festival at the Salzburgring until 2030 is a strong sign of the quality of the Fuschlsee region as a location – from the unique location to the excellent infrastructure. Major events like this have been in Salzburg for a long time “I wish the Electric Love Festival continued success as a beacon for the cultural diversity of our country until 2030 and beyond.” – State Governor Dr. Wilfried Haslauer
Electric Love Festival looks back with great gratitude on the past years and looks forward to
many more editions at Salzburgring.
