Galantis Releases “Pillow Fight” With Official Lyric Video via Big Beat Records
DJ/producer duo Galantis has released their new single “Pillow Fight” before the end of the year
Galantis returns to their roots with the release of their latest single, “Pillow Fight,” which is out today (Thurs., Dec. 15) via Big Beat Records. Their big-room sound poises its own mystical sense of wonder often presented through catchy lyrics and contagious melodies. “Pillow Fight” is no different, as Christian Karlsson (aka Bloodshy, one-third of Miike Snow) and Linus Eklöw (aka Style of Eye) continue to make waves among the electronic community.
Galantis returns with their soaring, signature sound, which seamlessly intertwines with the vocals on “Pillow Fight,” which serves up another infectious dose of transmittable energy. The finished product proclaims: “When pillow talks turn to pillow fights, Remember before you say goodnight, To make up before you go to sleep, So pillow fights turn to pillow dreams…I’ll go to sleep, I’ll go to sleep tomorrow.”
If that wasn’t enough for Galantis fans, this official lyric video also serves as the first time the guys have appeared in one of their own videos. The official lyric vide, which is directed by MOSSS with additional footage by Dalton Campbell, is comprised of recent performances and career highlights.
“In lots of ways “Pillow Fight” brings back the original Galantis heart and roots, and reminds us why we started this project. Launch yourself in every wave, live and breathe the full-throttle mentality, we’ll go to sleep tomorrow” — GALANTIS

This year was a big one for Galantis who released their wildly-popular singles, “No Money;” “Love On Me” with Hook N Sling,” which has garnered more than 45 million streams on Spotify; and “Make Me Feel,” which is taken from the soundtrack to the original Netflix film, XOXO. Finishing out the year with a bang, it was recently announced that Galantis has also been nominated for three P3 Gold Awards, and won the ‘Producer of The Year’ award at the SKAP Awards.
