GoodSex Releases Sleek Sophomore EP ‘With Friends Vol. 2’

After the highly successful release of lead single “Glow” off of GoodSex’s EP, the duo unleashed their long-awaited With Friends Vol. 2 EP. The soundtrack combines classic GoodSex signature house and sequencer sounds with a nuanced flare.

The five tracks certainly take house music to a new level and prove why the Chicago-based duo is one of the scene’s best up-and-coming acts. They manage to blend heavy bass, tech, and chill feels all with a natural groove throughout. With Friends Vol. 2 showcases deep musical and sound design knowledge featuring strong composition and well-paired lyrics.

“Glow” is a hopeful love song blending upbeat and energetic rhythms into their smashing sound. “Perfume” is an excellent contrast to “Glow” and delivers a new dimension and flavor to the EP with a sleek feel laced with contemporary and experimental sounds.

With a slew of exciting upcoming show announcements on the horizon, GoodSex is a name you’ll want to look out for. The duo was just announced as support to BoomBox on their Ogden Theatre New Years Eve show in Denver, Colorado.

There’s still time to catch GoodSex on the road this summer on the GoodBus, a very mobile stage they created that will be coming to major festivals across the U.S. The GoodBus is a full-length rear engine school bus converted into a fully-functional mobile sound stage with an incredible 10,000-watt speaker system. Having already made appearances at Summer Camp Music Festival, Spring Awakening, and Electric Forest this year, the GoodBus will also make appearances at multiple additional festivals.
