HAYLA Releases Anticipated “Freefall”

HAYLA is a Grammy-nominated, British singer and songwriter, with an extraordinarily powerful voice hailing from Formby, Liverpool, UK. Over the last couple of years she has emerged as one of the most in-demand vocalists and songwriters in global dance music, featuring on a number of significant records alongside high-profile artists such as, John Summit, Sub Focus, Kx5 (deadmau5 & Kaskade) and more. Now this vocal powerhouse drops “Freefall” the anticipated follow-up to her latest captivating track “Without You” with Kygo and dynamic solo releases “Fall Again” and “Embers.”

“I wrote this song in LA about a year and a half ago with Carl Ryden. The track was one that I always loved and when we were thinking about what to put on the album this track really stuck out as a stand alone single release. This song’s story happens after the love has gone – when the realization hits that no matter how hard you try to make something work you can’t. The chorus however asks the question of gravitational pull … maybe in another time it would bring you back together.” – HAYLA

Over the last year HAYLA has performed in front of sold out crowds at iconic venues around North America with her collaborators. Most recently we saw her perform with John Summit and Topic at PAROOKAVILLE. “Freefall” is written with BMI Award-winning, Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling & chart-topping producer/writer/musician Carl Ryden who worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin & Maluma. With “freefall” HAYLA hits emotional heights with lovelorn lyrics and pulsating, synth-driven beats. Look for “Freefall” along with “Fall Again” and “Embers” to appear on HAYLA’s debut solo album coming later this fall. “Freefall” is out now on all mayor streaming platforms.

Meanwhile look for HAYLA to join Kygo as support on his World Tour on his September North American dates in Commerce City, CO, Columbia, MD, New York, Boston, Montreal and Toronto and in December across the pond in London and Dublin.
