Hollywood Nightclub The Spotlight Launches Comedy, Cabaret, Dining & Painting Experiences

Framework, one of the world’s leading independent purveyors of underground music experiences, opened The Spotlight in January 2024 as a beacon of entertainment for those seeking a sophisticated and vibrant night out on the town. Designed with a 1960s speakeasy-inspired atmosphere and state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system, the intimate, 2,700-square-foot space has welcomed world-class house and techno talents like SG Lewis, Camelphat b2b Pete Tong, Dom Dolla, AMÉMÉ, Hayden James, and Damian Lazarus to its custom-built DJ booth

Now, The Spotlight is broadening its horizons, venturing beyond music to offer a dynamic program of comedy, cabaret, and paint & sip experiences. The Spotlight Comedy series, which launched in October, runs every Tuesday night through December 17. Hosted by film producer and comedian Alex Hluch, the weekly series showcases top comics from HBO, Netflix, The Tonight Show, and more. Opening night brought surprise performances from famed comedians Sheng Wang, Michael Lenoci, Brittany Ross, and Aiko Tanaka, setting the tone for a season filled with acclaimed acts and unexpected guest appearances. Looking ahead, comedian, author, and Netflix star Iliza Shlesinger will join The Spotlight Comedy series on Tuesday, December 3.
