Kerala Releases Stunning EP ‘Escapism’
Kerala has finally put forth his stellar EP Escapism featuring two new singles, “Calling Me” and “Escapism.” A story about love, loss, ambition, and finding oneself through traveling the world, only to realize happiness was within you all along, the EP’s storyline concept follows the journey of an individual coming to terms with six distinct issues portrayed within six songs.
As an artist, Colorado-based producer Jordan Evanoff AKA Kerala has spent a vast amount of time refining his sound and craft. Previously part of the band Evanoff, he’s now gotten into his own lane of exploring solo endeavors and a variety of sound designs. Escapism is the perfect reflection of just the kind of purpose he’s set out to achieve in the world.
“Often in life, we will think we need to escape our current surroundings in order to find ourselves again… when really, all we need to escape is the constraints of our own mind. Escapism is a story about love, loss, ambition, and finding yourself through traveling the world, only to realize happiness was within you all along. The storyline of this concept EP follows the journey of an individual coming to terms with this issue, through 6 distinct steps.” – Kerala
Now the young artist, DJ, and producer is taking leaps with their newest release, hoping that the message and music captivated listeners from around the world. With a slew of unreleased singles still within his catalog, Kerala is set to continuously gain new die-hard fans globally, spreading the message of their work to people who need to hear it.
