Knock2 Unveils Anthemic Single “hold my hand”

Visionary electronic artist Knock2 has just unleashed his anthemic new single “hold my hand,” the second track to drop from his forthcoming debut album nolimit. The song releases amidst a massive year for Knock2, which has seen the producer headline Ultra Music Festival (in a historic b2b with RL Grime) and Electric Forest, as well as perform at festivals such as Bonnaroo and Outside Lands.

“I started this song July 2023 with my friends Nick Smith & Sophia Gripari, we were writing multiple songs this day but this one really resonated with all of us. Felt like it all clicked when we discovered the chord progression, I immediately knew what direction to take the record. Something that felt nostalgic and bittersweet. “hold my hand” combines soaring, euphoric synth chord progressions with angelic vocals courtesy of Sophia Giripari, transporting listeners to a nostalgic era of cathartic Main Stage anthems. Representing a modern take on the progressive and electro-house stylings of the early-2010s, the track reinvigorates that vintage sound with Knock2’s signature ear for indelible melodies and vibrant instrumental production.

“hold my hand” kicks off with fuzzy beat chops before bringing Giripari’s vocals over submerged synth chords. The track then builds with infectious synth leads and robotic vocal layering before dropping into its explosive central section – a blazing cacophony of electro-style bass lines, sizzling hi-hats, and one of the year’s most catchy chord patterns. “hold my hand” is out now on all mayor streaming platforms.
