LMBO Links with Emmy-Nominated Singer/Songwriter Axel Mansoor on Latest Single

“Brand New Sinner” is the third and final single off LMBO’s forthcoming debut EP Ennui. It’s the perfect middle ground following the success of their prior “Still Love U” & “Awakening,” two tracks that built a prime foundation for their latest masterpiece, which holds over 400K combined streams.  However, “Brand New Sinner” heads in a slightly new direction for the LA-based duo, taking a slower, more pop-leaning form. Released on the imprint Paradise Circus (backed by Universal Music Group Germany), LMBO linked with Emmy-nominated songwriter Axel Mansoor and is able to demonstrate their true versatility as musicians.

Kicking off with riveting piano scales and light percussion, the harmonic vocals from singer Andrew Weitz aid in a steady, yet satisfying build-up in tangent with the verse. Dreamy vocals continue into a drop consisting of pounding-synths, off-beat drum hits, and melodic background leads that will keep listeners hooked through the arrangements’ entirety. In speaking on the creative process, Mike and Koby said:

“We really enjoyed working with Axel on this one. We had this idea for the production and thought it not only needed a voice, but also a touch of Axel’s euphoric writing style. Once we got in the studio with Axel and put Andrew on the mic, everything fell into place. While the sound on this one is a bit more pop-leaning, we hope the fans can enjoy some versatility.”

As they gear up for the EP, LMBO will be performing at various shows within the LA and Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
