LSZEE Drop “French Dream” & “Chrysalis”

LSZEE season is in full swing as LSDREAM and CloZee, two of bass music’s most beloved, preeminent stars come together to share their debut productions as a duo. As a precursor to their highly anticipated collaborative album dropping on September 27th, the duo dropped two amazing new singles “FRENCH DREAM” and “CHRYSALIS.”

“Back in 2022 we did a studio trip in Joshua Tree to work on a few collabs.  We tapped into the most abundant creative spark, and the music just started flowing. We kept writing more and more songs, exploring new ideas that inspired us, and having the best time, being in awe of each others creativity. 

We always vibed with each other and did shows together. We did a B2B once before and loved being stage together, so as our song pile kept growing, we started dreaming about a world where we could create a project together, take all our songs, weave them into a live performance, and share our vision. THAT DREAM IS ABOUT TO UNFOLD!

This body of work, about 20 collabs is what the LSZEE live show is built around. The 90 minute set is mostly this original music, and of course a few tunes from the homies. You won’t hear that many songs from our personal catalog, but we did do some LSZEE remixes for some of our favorites!!! We are very excited to pull up to Electric Forest, Northcoast, Bass Canyon, and Red Rocks to finally share all this with you!!” – Sami and Chloe

With “FRENCH DREAM” and “CHRYSALIS,” LSDREAM and CloZee beautifully showcase the range of their debut album, wherein fans are bound to experience the bass-fueled whimsy of their signature sounds.

Within its first minute, “FRENCH DREAM” beams listeners into outer space with ease and finesse, but not before asking, “Can this be a French dream?” After that initial blastoff, LSZEE drop a bouncy beat complemented by funky trumpet patterns, wobbly bass and fun ad-libs sprinkled throughout.

Meanwhile, they “CHRYSALIS” with the same helixes of DNA but infuse a different sound, reminiscent of a life well-traveled and well-contemplated. Slower-burning and meditative, the song is a carefully-crafted concoction of organic production and hypnotic vocals, all flowing freely through a cohesive arrangement. FRENCH DREAM” and “CHRYSALIS”are out now on all mayor streaming platforms.

In addition, the pairing of tracks are a precursor to a massive upcoming year, headlining the magical Electric Forest festival in June 2024 as well as two, consecutive headlining dates at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 5th and 6th with an incredible lineup including: The Funk Hunters, JordnMoody, K+Lab, Skysia, Common Creation & Lowcation. LSZEE will also be making appearances at Northcoast Festival and Bass Canyon.
