Martin Jensen & Bjørnskov Drop “Somebody I’m Not”
Following his latest Club EP World in October, Danish DJ/Producer Martin Jensen is circling around with a new single “Somebody I’m Not” featuring Bjørnskov, officially out now.
“Somebody I’m Not” dives into a colorful story, featuring uplifting lead vocals by Peter Bjørnskov, Jensen’s longtime friend and collaborator. The song shines a light on today’s social media and status obsessed nature, with lines like, ‘She said you’re rich and famous / And that’s all I need to know.’ Bjørnskov also scored team ups with the Danish star for his soulful tracks “All I Wanna Do” and “Miracles” although he wasn’t named as an official feature for the first. This time around, Bjørnskov’s melodious voice flows effortlessly on top of Jensen’s infectious beats and radiant rhythms. Both of their sounds melt together perfectly, and fans can easily have this one on repeat to give them an extra energy boost and dose of joy.
2018 has marked a whirlwind year for Jensen, as he recently celebrated 1 billion streams on Spotify, performed at the renowned Wembley Stadium and Tomorrowland, swept through a week of thrilling performances at the 23rd edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event, and climbed a monumental 16 spots on this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 poll to #54, making him Denmark’s most successful electronic artist to date.
