Massive Lineup Announced for DAY.MVS XL 2021 Debut

From the producers who have brought about the game-changing CRSSD Festival, comes a brand-new DAY.MVS XL Festival set to hit San Diego’s city center this summer. House and techno will finally return at the staple Waterfront Park for a huge two-day event on August 7 + 8. 

After being announced last week, tickets have since then sold out. However, fans without a ticket aren’t completely out of luck (with CRSSD Festival hinting at a huge fall return this year). Showcasing some of the industry’s biggest names, including GRAMMY-nominated Fisher and fan-favorite Lane 8, August’s edition of DAY.MVS XL is looking to be the two-stage festival warm-up that everyone has been waiting for.

On the house spectrum of the festival, UK industry heads MK, Felix Da Housecat and rising-star Cloonee are taking a hop across the pond to bring some funk to the Waterfront. Famous record producer Yung Bae, known for his contribution to many famous pop songs, will be bringing a much-anticipated solo set. Additionally, fan-favorite Tiga will be showcasing a special B2B with Danny Daze. Lastly, Freak On, who got his start on San Diego-based record label Hood Politics, will be making his debut to DAY.MVS dancefloor. 

Rounding out the techno side of the lineup, rapidly rising stars Nora en Pure and Monolink will be bringing their unique sounds to the park’s grassy knolls. Followed up by techno pioneer Yotto- attendees are sure to be given their much-needed dose of heavy-hitting techno. Powerhouse Francesca Lombardo is also making a beloved appearance with her unique synths and a rare B2B performance by Yotto and Jeremy Olander. 

More monumental sets of the weekend will be resident Lee K, Mathame, and Will Clarke. Progressive artists such as Luttrell will bring unmatched nostalgic vibes to the stage. Lastly, German-born Recondite will be taking the reins for an all-time live set. With more artists being announced, this event is sure to be the return to live music that we’ve all been waiting for. 

The fun will continue for special after-hours events, including a boat party leaving from the harbor just outside DAY.MVS XL’s gates. Non-stop house and techno have been brought to San Diego since the birth of CRSSD’s talented crew- with their dedication to bringing up-and-coming stars alongside deeply-rooted industry icons. 

DAY.MVS XL is a 21+ event located at Waterfront Park, just a few minutes away from the Amtrak Station. The venue is complete with oceanfront sunsets, splash friendly fountains, and two stages.
