The global music and culture collective BABËL and the masterminds behind SILENCIO, who today unveil The DiscOlympics – a champion-grade celebration Disco, its French roots and the King of the genre himself, Cerrone. 

Taking place on Sunday, July 28 at Wanderlust and FVTVR from 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM, the marquee event goes back to the unforgettable experience in the heart of the Paris Summer Olympics. Founded by French-Tunisian musician, producer and entrepreneur Waël Mechri-Yver — founder of GOSPËL and artistically known as WAÏ — BABËL is a global community with New York Roots that connects individuals from all corners of the world in the pursuit of music, the arts and magic. Curating uniquely immersive events for over a decade, BABËL prepares to innovate once again as Waël Mechri-Yver introduces The DiscOlympics to the Summer Games scene. 

The all-night-long affair will be headlined by Cerrone with performances from an epic lineup of premier talent including BABËL’s own WAÏ, Agoria, He.She.They, Roche Musique’s finest acts – with Darius, Cezaire & Kartell – and BLT alongside a covetable roster of surprise guests.

More than a party, the DiscOlympics are an homage to legends and the root of dance music, orchestrated around CERRONE, whose groundbreaking music set dance floors ablaze across the globe. Revered as the founding father of disco, Cerrone’s innovative music defined the genre’s early years and his legacy continues to inspire artistic expression across generations.

Spanning 4 stages across Wanderlust and FVTVR, the DiscOlympics will transform the Cité de la Mode et du Design into an electrifying party epicenter infused with global influences, reflecting the diverse cultural tapestry of the event. 

The first “Parisian rooftop” and venue dedicated to urban cultures, Wanderlust boasts an open-air terrace of 1,600 square meters and a covered space of 386 square meters within the Cité de la Mode et du Design. A high place of Parisian hedonism, this institution hosts concerts, parties, street food stands, creative and sports workshops, open-air cinema, and more.
