Born from an odyssey the brothers (Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli) embarked on late last year in Tokyo, Japan, NEO is more than just a statue; it is a bridge between the ancient and the modern. Now we see the Emo Tech DJ and producer duo Mathame unveil NEO World, a multi-stop, tour that will introduce their most groundbreaking concept to date, NEO, to audiences around the globe. Originally debuted during their residency of the same name at Ibiza’s beloved nightlife establishment Amnesia, NEO is an evolving art form that blends cutting-edge technology with the unifying power of music to deliver an experiential marvel in a category of its own. On Saturday, October 5, the duo will kick off the tour at The Brooklyn Mirage via a two-hour, 360-degree sonic experience, featuring the humanoid monument as the euphonic centerpiece at an impressive 9 meters tall, immersing attendees into their forward-thinking, cinematic artistic vision in a completely new way.

A revolutionary approach to live music experiences, NEO comes to life as an android cyborg in a meditative state, delivering an unexpected optical element that transcends traditional LED visual integrations. A physical manifestation of the duo’s connective ethos, NEO creates spaces for human interaction and emotional resonance as Mathame invites audiences to explore the interplay between sound and the senses.

The announcement arrives hot on the heels of their most recent hit “I Will Find You,” a deeply personal release that re-imagines the iconic intro track from legendary Italian DJ and electronic pioneer, Franchino, as well as the duo’s electrifying AV performance during Tomorrowland Weekend One. Marking their final AV show, Mathame’s performance on the Freedom Stage signaled the first full-length AI generated feature film on a public venue.
