Last Saturday (June 6th), internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Michael Bibi shattered records as he kicked off his celebratory ‘One Life’ tour at Finsbury Park – Drawing over 45,000 attendees, cementhing this moment as the largest electronic music event in the city’s history.

The event was a true testament to Bibi’s indomitable spirit and remarkable journey, filled with poignant and unforgettable moments.

Bibi’s performance was a heartfelt narrative of his life and victorious fight against CNS Lymphoma. In addition to performances from Chloé Caillet, Dixon, Enzo Siragusa, and Salomé Le Chat, the stage saw a special B3B DJ set with Dennis Cruz and PAWSA – celebrating a decade of performing together – as well as guest performances by Audio Bullys, and Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjærg – former member and the original singer of Blue Foundation’s “Eyes on Fire” which Bibi notably remixed in 2020.

However, it was the personal touches that truly captivated the audience on an intimate level. As the night unfolded, the giant screens displayed deeply moving video montages including scenes from Bibi’s childhood with his father – who also hopped on stage to perform an electrifying guitar solo – cherished moments with Dennis Cruz and PAWSA, and raw footage of his struggles in the hospital throughout his treatment.

The emotional depth of the event was palpable; Fans witnessed not only the triumph of a beloved artist (and their home team as England’s quarter-final win was also broadcast on the screen) but also the resilience of a man who has overcome immense challenges. A portion of the proceeds from the show supported various cancer charities including Anthony Nolan, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which supports the work of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where Bibi received his treatment.

Building on the momentum of this milestone moment, Bibi will continue celebrating life with his second tour stop in Seville, Spain on July 13, followed by performances at Ushuaïa Ibiza in September and Puglia Italy in October.
