New Music Friday: “2 Hearts” from Sam Feldt, Sigma & Gia Koka

A testament to his unending feel-good records, Sam Feldt is gracing New Music Friday in his first release of 2020. “2 Hearts” is his freshly minted team up with U.K. drum’n’bass act Sigma, featuring Gia Koka on vocals. 

Tropical percussion stands beside Gia’s radiant vocals and lovely lyrics throughout “2 Hearts,” whilst Sigma is a rhythmic compliment to the tune, adding their notable sharp and gutsy presence to the table to make “2 Hearts” a whimsical and delightful collaboration. The track is perfectly packed with Sam Feldt’s vibrant musical light, placing listener’s imaginations under the sun and right into a groovy electronic sanctuary. 

Sam Feldt, another Dutch dance music visionary, is coming off the heels of numerous remixes and originals from 2019. On the mixing front, Feldt created his own uplifting renditions of “The Truth” by James Blunt, “Slow Dance” by Ava Max, and “South Of The Border” by Camila Cabello and Cardi B, amongst others. His single “Post Malone” with RANI has garnered over 240 million streams since its release in 2019, and the song was also part of his Magnets EP which featured a melodious journey through five soulful productions. 

Jumping into a year of new music, fans are pleased to have Gia Koka lending her voice to “2 Hearts.” A glamorous voice that continues to rise within the music scene, “2 Hearts” is an emerging moment and impressive mark for Gia, and we hope to hear her in more and more places this year.
