Northern Nights Music Festival returns to NorCal for unique experience

Returning to Cook’s Valley Campground in Piercy, California, is Northern Nights Music Festival. Northern Nights is California’s premier boutique-style music festival which features an assortment of both live and electronic music acts, as well as forest and riverfront camping, silent disco, yoga, art, vendors, and more.

Cook’s Valley Campground is a festival site unlike any other, and truly makes Northern Nights a one-of-a-kind experience. Adjacent to US Highway 101 on the border of Humboldt & Mendocino county, just 3.5 hours north of San Francisco, Cooks Valley is tucked along the Eel River under towering Redwood trees. The festival grounds feature deep swimming holes, the largest Redwood grove used for camping, and plenty of space to enjoy the festivities without feeling overcrowded.

Northern Nights features four stages including a large main stage with intense production, the “River Stage” where attendees can enjoy their favorite artists on a beach or in the comfort of a beautiful swimming hole, the “Off The Grid” stage where silent disco is held, and “The Meadow” stage featuring simple and dream-like production nestled in with nature. Gracing these stages are artists including Gorgon City, Griz, The Knocks, Snbrn, Claptone, Bass Physics, TroyBoi, and many more.

Along with fantastic musical acts, Northern Nights features a wide range of activities to experience during the festival. These include food, art, and clothing vendors, yoga classes, a non-profit village used to promote a wide variety of organizations, a “fun field”, specialty bars, and many more surprises.

Northern Nights also provides 100% free camping in three locations; The Meadow, located nearest to the main stage and centrally located to everything, The Grove, perfect for those who love plenty of natural shade from huge Redwood trees, and The River, ideal for large groups and for those who like to set up communal spaces. All campsites strictly enforce cleanliness and preservation in order to maintain the beauty of the festival grounds. Car and RV parking are available for purchase, as well as hotel packages if camping isn’t your thing.

Tickets are available now with general admission currently priced at $259 including the 3-day festival ticket and first-come-first-serve camping. VIP is also available for $379 or a $100 upgrade and includes all the benefits of GA plus VIP viewing, discounted showers, happy hour, and more.
