Record Club Releases New Single “Switch It Up,” Following “You Make Me Feel”
The brothers on a mission to keep big room going strong, Record Club, have returned with their latest consecutive single “Switch It Up.” While Record Club might have dialed backed a bit on typical big room style on their latest work, “Switch It Up” truly does switch things up for the guys (especially during the second drop of the record), while still showcasing their signature sound.
“Following up ‘You Make Me Feel’ we decided to dial in our Big Room roots with ‘Switch It Up’ and man are we excited to drop this one. This time around we wanted to switch it up and focus more on utilizing noises and sounds to guide the listener through the track instead of relying solely on vocals. The instrumentals behind Martin Garrix’s track ‘Diamonds’ initially sparked our creative interest into making this track because of the way his track dives right in from the get go and never lets up. However, as you can see with the name, the driving force behind our song is the switch up during our second drop which we know will really catch the listener’s attention and keep their interest the entire time. We’re here to lead the charge in bringing Big Room back, and ‘Switch It Up’ is just the beginning!” – Record Club on “Switch It Up”
Just one month prior to “Switch It Up,” Record Club started off the year with a big-room bang(er), “You Make Me Feel.” Here to lead the charge in bringing big room back to the forefront of the electronic dance music (EDM) scene, the record that started of 2022 for the guys, “You Make Me Feel,” was inspired by the traditional, old school dance sounds of Tommy Trash and others. The brothers Record Club, Alex and Dan, are here to change the game — and they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon, both figuratively and literally. In keeping with their strong release track, the guys have been dropping a single each month, adding to their budding discography one big room record at a time.
“We wanted to start the new year with a bang by incorporating our electro and festival progressive house styles into one song and the result is ‘You Make Me Feel.’ Inspired by songs like Tommy Trash’s ‘The End’ and his remix of ‘Ladi Dadi,’ our goal was to create a song that drew the listener in with catchy vocals and then hit them with a heart-thumping drop. We made this song for people to scream at the top of their lungs in the car or let loose on the dance floor, whichever they prefer. However, we highly encourage doing both.” – Record Club on “You Make Me Feel”
