The Dutch superstar Reinier Zonneveld teamed up with the talented Dea Magna for their latest weapon of mass destruction “Tokyo”. “Tokyo” is a calculated shot of adrenaline that knows exactly what it wants to be. The track marries techno’s thrilling pulse with happy hardcore’s sugar rush, creating something that give of the nostalgic 90ties feel with a modern twist. Both artists have been making serious moves where Reinier is running marathon sets and dominating the underground, Dea Magna racks up millions of streams and festival sets across the US and Europe.

With “Tokyo” Reinier and Magna deliver a track filled with crisp and intentional, ingeniously interpolating whistle samples in a nod to the golden age of warehouse raves. Meanwhile, Magna’s vocals ride the line between playful and hypnotic, following dance music’s tried-and-true formula of invitation and release. “Come with me to Tokyo” works as both a literal call to adventure and a metaphor for escape, exactly what you want when you’re lost in a crowd at 3am. “Tokyo” is out now on all mayor streaming platforms via the producer’s own Filth On Acid label.
