“I was in my second studio session of the day when LEGZDINA came into the studio to start this project and I liked her immediately – We hit it off right away. I got some drums in the mix, showed her the tempo, the groove and the track and we just started bouncing ideas off each other. We co-wrote all the lyrics together and she got in the booth, absolutely laid it down at 160 BPM – because she is amazing – and we finished ‘Pressure’ a few hours later. This is the first time all of my bars for a hip-hop track have gone anywhere – I have a ton of lyrics I’ve written and never used before – so it’s cool that they’re now seeing the light of day on ‘Pressure’.
