Sofasound Returns with Uplifting New Single “You Been On My Mind”

Sofasound, the young producer and multi-instrumentalist, has returned with his latest work “You Been On My Mind” out now on bitbird. The rising artist released his debut album on the label earlier this year and has once again provided some soulful vibes to the label’s catalogue.

Created with lifelong music friend, falcxne, “You Been On My Mind” is an uplifting and playful house track that demonstrates Sofasound’s range as an artist. While it is different from other previous tracks, it still succeeds in maintaining his signature lofi and soulful sound, making it one of his most unique releases yet.

“‘You Been On My Mind’ was inspired by a drive down Hutchinson Island, Florida which is the beach area by where I live. The palm trees and sunny sky, and good music, but an empty passenger seat which the song was written to my ‘future’ girlfriend that we would be riding by the beach together one day laughing and enjoying life.” -Sofasound

With a few months left in 2020, Sofasound does not plan on slowing down any time soon. He always dedicates as much time as he can to music and will no doubt return to deliver some more calming tunes in the near future.
