Sparkee and Pineo & Loeb’s “Feel It” Brings All the Funk
For electronic duo PINEO & LOEB and electric-guitar player Sparkee, bringing the funk is what their music is all about, and their newest collaboration “Feel It” does just that. Out now on all digital streaming platforms, “Feel It” will have you moving and grooving like never before. With its funky and eclectic-disco vibe, it’s a one-of-a-kind masterpiece in a realm of multiple electronic sounds.
PINEO & LOEB are recognized for creating and playing uplifting, funky and high-energy songs. Together they merge a plethora of music genres, including electronic, dance, hip-hop, rock, and more. Just last year, the duo released their debut full length album LIFEBLOOD on The Funk Hunters’ Westwood Recordings label and toured extensively across Canada. Sparkee is an electronic musician and electric guitar player creating everything from house, funk, electro, and various other subgenres. He incorporates live guitar sounds into his work, giving his tracks a unique sound. His creative inspiration derives from artists like Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Joe Satriani, Nile Rodgers, OVERWERK, Chromeo, and Justice, and is effortlessly portrayed in his work. Together, the two magnetically artistic forces have produced a bumping classic that will leave us all breaking a sweat on the dance floor.
“Feel it” is the result of a series of epic events ignited by Sparkee’s disco-inspired remix of Deadmau5’s “Strobe.” The remix generated millions of views across a succession of songs and videos and gained automatic attention once Deadmau5 heard the song on his live stream and the clip of his affirmative reaction to it went viral. During the video clip, we can clearly hear Deadmau5 claim that Sparkee’s bass-line in the track is “IMPOSSIBLE”, and coming from the widely known sarcastic electro-house mastermind we know that it must be that impressive.
Inspired by Deadmau5’s approval to his special sound, Sparkee teamed alongside PINEO & LOEB to incorporate another “impossible” sound in their newest song “Feel It.” Although Deadmau5 claims the song’s main hook to be “the most overused line in dance music”, he still indirectly supports the track’s overall uplifting tone and blistering nu-disco funk pitch. “Feel It” truly harmonizes impeccable electronic synths and vocals alongside the electrifying sounds of the bass guitar. This track will surely lift up your spirits. Listen to the upbeat sounds of “Feel It” on SoundCloud and Spotify, out now!
