Speaker Honey Drops Debut EP ‘Night Visions’ via mau5trap

Hawaiian native Speaker Honey has hit the ground running in her four-track Night Visions EP which is out now via mau5trap. Night Visions is a strong fusion of electronic elements, and this mau5trap debut is perfectly showcasing some of her strongest work.

Speaker Honey flaunts her technical knowledge on this EP with intuitive mixing and sound design. The mau5trap signee takes her eerie sound and combines it with dark basslines and witchy vocal chops. Starting the Night Visions EP with a rolling percussive build is “Mass.” The track is takes us on a sonic journey chock-full of Speaker Honey’s signature electro and techno-infused sound. “2020 (Night Vision)” follows up the “Mass” and is infused with hypnotizing vocals and a strong melody to match.

Next with extremely fine-tuned sound design, “P=MV” features an oscillating kick-drum with a classic punchy techno flare. Closing out Night Visions is “Dark Fortune,” which is one of the eeriest tracks on the EP with a rather sinister name to match the theme and textures of the record.
