Superstar Shaquille O’Neal Returns to Bootshaus

Germany’s number 1 club, The Bootshaus, is providing another sporting highlight in Cologne shortly after the European Football Championships. Even though he is no longer actively playing, the beloved national treasure Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most famous athletes in the world and has turned another hobby into his profession, DJing. After the sold-out event last year, he is looking forward to warming up the guests in the Bootshaus again on July 27th, 2024.

Commonly referred to as “Shaq” is one of the most famous sports icons of his generation and is considered one of the best players at his position ever. With an impressive basketball career that includes four NBA championships and numerous individual awards, Shaq has earned a place in the hearts of sports fans worldwide. Since then he has started out as a rapper and has continued to expand his passion for music until he has now landed in the electronic music scene and started out as DJ Diesel.

Under this pseudonym, “Diesel” he has built a remarkable career as a DJ and producer in recent years. He has performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the world, such as Tomorrowland, or Lost Lands, famous in the dubstep scene, and has worked with some of the music scene’s most famous artists. What is particularly noteworthy is that his reach helps many young, aspiring producers gain a foothold in the scene.
