Tessa Violet Completes First EP with Remixes by Le Youth & Viceroy

On the heels of her massively successful debut single “Crush,” breakout star Tessa Violet completes her premiere EP Bad Ideas (Act One) with two enigmatic remixes. Enlisting the musical prowess of Le Youth and Viceroy, Violet’s “Crush” and “I Like (the idea of) You” are beautifully reimagined. Both remixes and Bad Ideas (Act One) are available for streaming and purchase now.

Strong forces in the crossover pop world, Le Youth and Viceroy are no strangers to remixes. Seamlessly blending their electronic flair with Violet’s buoyant vocals, the pair breathe new life into their respective reimaginations. Bubbly and bedroom-pop reminiscent, Le Youth’s take on “Crush” is a dreamy treat, chock-full of lush synths and bright melodies. Viceroy’s “I Like (the idea of) You” sees bassline twang paired with future funk, signature of the artist, and shining through on his remix. With the addition of the two remixes, Tessa Violet’s first EP, Bad Ideas (Act One) sees completion.

Tessa Violet’s US Headline Tour kicks off on Thursday, July 25 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a European Headline Tour and main support tour AJR to follow. In addition to full tour routings, Violet will play her first Lollapalooza Music Festival this August in her hometown of Chicago, being selected by Billboard as one of the 10 new festival artists to look out for in 2019.
