The NY Music Expo Makes Its Highly-Anticipated Debut This Weekend
This Saturday, July 13, the first-ever NY Music Exposition will be taking over the Worlds Resort Casino as one of the largest networking events in the music industry. From hip-hop, electronic music, and pop – a collection of network executives, artists, DJs, producers, and vocalists will come together under one roof. The 50,000 square-foot exhibition hall will host panelists, interactive workshops, and networking events.
The Nocturnal Times is a proud participant of the Expo and will be hosting interviews with artists, panelists, executives and more at our table all day long, so come on by and say hello! On top of that, several major record labels, booking agents, and nightclub owners are confirmed to attend and scout for upcoming talent. This event will surely be a game-changer for those in the industry looking to expand their network or be discovered.
Similar electronic music expos and panels take place during Winter Music Conference (Miami), Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE, Amsterdam), and Insomniac’s former Las Vegas function, EDMbiz.
The single-day NY Music Expo extravaganza is jam-packed with informative panelists and network connections designed to help the careers of new artists take off. There are six categories of panel topics such as Artist Management (where our Founder Mark Mancino will be a panelist), Social Media Branding/PR, Vocals and Production, Remixes and Mixshows, Radio, and Record Labels. Within these categories are keynote speakers from big-name industry executives at Spotify, iHeart Radio, BPM, and MTV. There are also keynote speakers who will introduce the newest music equipment and technology to the exposition.
From 12-8pm, attendees have the option of also heading over to the official ‘Summer Music Festival’ hosted by the exposition. There will be twenty-three talented performers at the Digital Music Pool Stage including the likes of Vincent, New Ordinance, Mahalo, and Zookëper. The festivities will continue into the night at Bar 360, where the official after-party will be hosted by Mikey P from NBC’s American Ninja Warrior and Kailah Casillas from MTV’s The Real World.
