The legendary Dutchman will make his appearance at the 7th Sunday Festival (Netherlands) on Pentecost Sunday, June 8. The festival between 1:00 PM and 1:00 AM is traditionally organized on the seventh Sunday after Easter at the De Roost festival site in Erp (near Eindhoven). It is sold out every year with 45,000 visitors. Producer Par-T has won several awards with the concept, including ‘Grand Festival 2018’ from Festivalchart.

“It was a rainy edition, but the moment we announced Tiësto, it opened up completely and Tiësto provided a beautiful ending.” – Producer Par-T

Tiësto, the stage name of Tijs Verwest, born in 1969, can without a doubt call himself one of the ambassadors of Dutch electronic music. At the beginning of this century, he was the very first Dutch DJ at the top of the DJ Mag Top 100. He occupied that position in 2002, 2003 and 2004. Since then, he has become an indispensable part of the world’s top. In 2011, MixMag declared him the best DJ of all time, while he can easily fill his trophy cabinet with only Dutch awards. He earned, among other things, a Silver and Golden Harp, Export Prize, various Edisons including an Edison Oeuvre Prize and he is an Officer in the Order of Oranje-Nassau. Today, Tiësto is a resident DJ in Las Vegas, which means he performs sporadically in the Netherlands. His last performance on 7th Sunday was earlier in 2022.

7th Sunday Festival is one of these festivals that always has the “sold out” sign on the cash register for each edition. That is also this years expectation. The all-round music festival has sixteen different areas, meaning that almost all genres of electronic music are represented: EDM, Hardstyle, Urban, House, Techno, Techhouse, Deephouse, Eclectic, Big Room, Trap, Hip Hop, Live, Disco, R&B and Reggae. In total, more than 120 artists are programmed.
