Tom Ferry Drops Retro Dance Gem “Standstill” (ft. Jess Ball)

With over 120 million global streams to his name, Liverpool-based production talent, Tom Ferry, has engraved his name in the dance community. It was written in the stars from the start, when his debut single with Duane Harden “Better With You’ was snapped up by Ultra Music, and his unofficial remix of Ariana Grande’s hit “Into You” caught the attention of Billboard, leading to a series of official remixes for such artists as Felix Jaehn, INNA, and Giorgio Moroder. Now we see om Ferry now debuts on the crossover dance imprint Perfect Havoc for the release of his latest single “Standstill” with the incredible singer and songwriter Jess Ball.

“Standstill” is a quality offering from Tom Ferry. It takes a long atmospheric build up with Jess’s angelic-like vocals setting the tone. Ferry ups the pace and expertly stacks layer upon layer of snares, kicking bassline, and driving, trance esque synths.
