TWO LANES Roll Out Intricate ‘Drifting’ EP
After teasing several singles from one collective, DJ/Production duo TWO LANES has arrived with their final Drifting EP, and they have gone above and beyond to pour imaginative creativity into every ounce of it.
Supported by SiriusXM Chill, Kasbo, Zeds Dead, This Song Is Sick, Dancing Astronaut, Trap Nation, and Mr. Suicide Sheep, TWO LANES’ first single amassed over 100,000 Spotify plays within its first week. A promising sign of things to come, the guys are now meshing together fantastic strengths that build from their classically trained music backgrounds as well as their modern vision of sound.
“Our Drifting EP is a musical 8-track journey describing how we have spent our last 6 six months – moving from place to place, never settling down. Music enables us to leave something very personal behind and we are thankful to share it with the world.” – TWO LANES
Opening with a delicate “Prelude,” the EP gracefully introduces piano to set the mood for the soulful series of songs ahead. Spanning eight tracks in total, Drifting brings forth several collaborations as well as striking originals by TWO LANES. Featuring artists like Kwesi, Trove, and Keiynan Lonsdale, these combinations of versatile styles add more finely-tuned elements and heartfelt vocal pieces to the EP’s entirety.
The instrumentals throughout Drifting are arguably the most beautiful aspect of the soundtrack, as each song flows on breezy notes into one another on intricate and sentimental levels. Drifting showcases TWO LANES’ ability to capture listeners in more than one electronic sphere, rather they pull musical influences from numerous genres to create one distinguishable work that resonates in hearts around the world.
