Two Techno Titans Attract 60,000 Ravers to Flanders Expo

The numbers speak for themselves: more than 60,000 ravers are heading to Flanders Expo for the three B2B shows by Amelie Lens (34) and Charlotte de Witte (32). Another first: they will soon release new music together. The Belgian producers are now more than ever claiming the title of czarinas of techno.

Almost all 3,200 Ghent hotel rooms have been booked for the coming weekend and this has everything to do with the duo performance by DJs Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte. With a back to back set, Lens and De Witte fill Flanders Expo in Ghent no less than three times.

“69,000 tickets were sold in five days. If we had obtained additional permits, we could have easily sold out the complex six times,” – Alexander Vandriessche (Charlotte de Witte’s manager)

Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte will play a unique ‘back-to-back’ set at Flanders Expo in Ghent. They take turns playing a picture. It is the very first time that the popular techno DJs will perform together. They do this in Ghent, De Witte’s home city.

The shows in Flanders Expo start at 8:30 PM. DJs Inox Traxx and Airod will play as the support act, Lens and De Witte will play from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. Then the party continues until 6 a.m. with Daria Kolosova.
