Ultra Music Festival 2016 Reveals Phase 2 Lineup For Miami
From house music to techno, trance to dubstep, drum n bass, progressive to electro, underground to mainstream, Ultra Music Festival returns to Bayfront Park, Miami for its eighteenth installment. From March 18-20, Ultra will deliver three days of action-packed performances from some of the biggest names in electronic dance music. The phase 2 announcement was announced tonight (Feb. 17) following the massive phase 1 announcement.
The World’s Premier Electronic Music Festival packs an immense amount of talent at the Ultra Main Stage alone this year, with internationally renowned talent acts spread across the spectacle’s three-day span. Friday brings Main Stage sets from Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Dash Berlin, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, and more. Hardwell, Tiësto (sunset slot), Afrojack, Avicii, Steve Angello, W&W, Carnage, and DVBBS are among those to take to the Main Stage on Saturday. To close things out on Sunday this year at the Ultra Main Stage, the festival calls on Pendulum / Knife Party, Kygo, Galantis, Zedd, David Guetta, Fedde Le Grand, Mykris, and Tommie Sunshine, among others.
Live acts are a top priority for Ultranauts, which is what makes the Live Stage at Ultra such an exhilarating experience. Join Miike Snow, Caribou, Chet Faker, The Prodigy, Nero live, Thomas Jack live, Icona Pop, AlunaGeorge, Purity Ring, Destroid, Crystal Castles, and more, for live performances for what’s sure to be the most memorable Ultra installment yet.
Returning to the Megastructure with A State of Trance, Armin van Buuren is bringing numerous artists along for the ride on Sunday, March 20. In addition to the trance titan, Ultra-goers can anticipate sets from deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, MaRLo, Ben Gold, KhoMha, and a yet-to-be-announced name.
In the days ahead of ASOT at the Megastrcture, Carl Cox & Friends dominate the infamous space with close to a dozen techno and underground performers. Cox will take to the Megastructure on Friday with Loco Dice, Apollonia, and Joseph Capriati and Saturday with Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, and Jon Rundell b2b Cristian Varela.
Resistance Arcadia Spider makes its debut in Miami during Ultra this year. Revolving around the underground sound, go back to dance music roots with Resistance sets from veteran acts such as John Digweed, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn, Sasha, Seth Troxler, Nic Fanciulli, The Martinez Brothers, Guy Gerber, Art Department.
If those acts and stages aren’t convincing enough, the Ultra Worldwide stage brings The Chainsmokers, Cedric Gervais, Laidback Luke, Don Diablo, Vicetone, Duke Dumont, Robin Schulz, MK, Marshmello, Sam Feldt, Alison Wonderland, and a plethora of others.
Venture over to the UMF Radio stage for the OWSLA All Stars, Valentino Khan, Mija, Wiwek, Loudpvck, Ookay, Brillz, Sick Individuals, Bassjackers, Dannic, and more.
