Ultra Music Festival 2025: Another Year for the Books
Ultra Music Festival 2025 lit up Downtown Miami once again this past March 28-30, and what a whirlwind of a weekend. Yet again, Ultra holds down the festival circuit as an entirely legendary weekend full of the genre’s top artists. Transforming Bayfront Park into a euphoric playground for electronic music lovers from around the globe, tens of thousands of music lovers came once again to experience a festival of a lifetime. With the city skyline as its backdrop and the iconic Ultra Main Stage towering above packed crowds, this year’s edition was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment gates opened, the energy was palpable—every inch of the venue pulsed with bass, lights, and uncontainable excitement. Tickets on sale now for Ultra 2026 HERE.

The lineup this year was a masterclass in curation, balancing industry titans with rising stars. Headliners like Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Alesso, and Axwell returned to deliver high-octane sets packed with new edits and emotional throwbacks. The Resistance stage brought techno heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, and Amelie Lens, creating an immersive underground haven amid the chaos. Meanwhile, acts like Chase & Status, Pendulum, Said The Sky and tons more brought fresh energy to the Live Stage which always remains the hidden gem of Ultra.
Some of our favorite main stage moments were the fireworks extravaganza during Zedd’s “Clarity,” Martin Garrix playing his recent anthem “Carry You,” Morten shaving his head for celebrating making it to the main stage, and Axwell throwing down a slew of Swedish House Mafia smash hits. Of course, one of the fan favorite moments of the weekend was definitely John Summit’s B2B with Dom Dolla which was one for the books.

Sunday brought a dramatic twist, as heavy rain temporarily washed out parts of the festival and forced a brief delay in programming—but true to Ultra spirit, the show went on. Ponchos came out, muddy shoes hit the pavement, and the crowds returned in full force, undeterred by the storm. Fans danced through puddles, cheered louder than ever, and made the most of every set, determined not to let the weather dampen their final day. The resilience of the Ultra crowd was just another reminder of why this festival holds a special place in the hearts of so many.
RESISTANCE Miami wrapped another wildly successful Miami Music Week residency at M2 Nightclub in South Beach, marking its third year with a full house every night. The sold-out series featured hard-hitting sets from underground heavyweights like Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha, Nicole Moudaber, Joris Voorn, I Hate Models, Miss Monique, and more—delivering a nonstop showcase of cutting-edge techno and house for fans from around the globe.

Looking ahead, RESISTANCE is heading back to Ibiza this summer with a nine-week residency at Amnesia from July 23 to September 17, 2025. Season residents Adam Beyer and ARTBAT will anchor a stacked lineup featuring Anfisa Letyago, ANNA, Gordo, HI-LO, Maceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin (live), Vintage Culture, and many more. With its signature production and global talent, RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025 is shaping up to be one of the island’s most anticipated club nights of the season.
Beyond the music, Ultra 2025 once again elevated the festival experience through its production and attention to detail. Lasers sliced through the night sky, fireworks erupted in sync with drops, and stage visuals set the scene with perfect twists. The crowd, an eclectic mix of ravers, international travelers, and music industry tastemakers, brought a global spirit that made every stage feel like a shared celebration.

Ultra continues to prove why it’s one of the most legendary festivals in the world, year after year. It’s not just the lineup or the production—it’s the feeling of unity and release, of being part of something larger than yourself, even if only for a weekend. With every beat that echoed across Bayfront Park, Ultra 2025 reminded us why dance music thrives: because it brings people together in the most unforgettable ways.
