It’s been almost 10 years since the release of Zedd’s latest album “True Colors.” Since then the award-winning DJ and producer has been dropping quite a few singles such as “Stay” with Alessia Cara, his top track with over 1 Billion streams worldwide “The Middle” featuring Grey and Maren Morris, and his 2018 summer bop “Happy Now” featuring Elley Duhé.
Along with his Las Vegas residency, Zedd has been dropping subtle hints about his third album since 2020, and in 2023 I tweeted at him asking if this would be the year he would release a full-length record. The 34-year-old producer and songwriter subsequently replied by saying that he was indeed working on one and that he has been highly motivated of late.
In an end of the year recap that Zedd posted on Instagram; he celebrated his successful year and thanked his fans who have been standing with him for the past decade. He also shouted…
I played less shows than I typically do but got to spend much more time in the studio crafting what I think is going to be the most genuine and deeply personal album I’ve ever made.
This past weekend at EDC Las Vegas, Zedd posted multiple stories with a countdown clock, along with the side-eye (‘👀’) emoji, and asking people to register for texts. Clarifying that he was indeed going to announce his new album; and what better place to do that then on the Kinetic Field at the most prominent music festival in the world. At the bridge to his closing song “Clarity,” Zedd’s visuals started appearing under the electric sky, making numbers and letters – finally all coming together to announce his third studio album (Z3) “TELOS” coming out August 30th, 2024. To all the Zedd fans out there… We can truly say we are happy now.

While only the title and date of the album are released (as of now), you can pre-save his album on all streaming platforms on his website, along with additional updates.
I cannot contain my excitement for this Z3 album, and his tour that he’ll announce later in the year.
